Audius is excited to reward the artists who have played a vital role in shaping our community. Airdrop 2: Artist Appreciation is here, offering 2 million AUDIO tokens to 1,171 artists as part of our commitment to building the future of music together.

Eligible artists will receive an email notification with a simple step-by-step guide:
To avoid any confusion with spam, we’ll be including specific markers in the airdrop eligibility email, so keep your eye out for the audius.co banner, a post on X at launch time before the email, and an embedded link to the post in the email.
It’s important to note that there is no need to connect an external wallet to receive or participate in the airdrop—your AUDIO will automatically appear in your Audius account.
As mentioned in our kick-off blog post, this airdrop is part of a broader rewards system upgrade designed to make Audius the best place for artists to grow, earn, and connect. Here’s how the airdrop reward works:
The scoring methodology for the airdrop is based on a fair and transparent formula that takes into account:
The minimum score to be eligible is 0.576, ensuring that all qualifying artists receive at least 500 AUDIO. The maximum score recorded was 32.196.
The full code used to compute eligibility and distribution will be open-sourced simultaneously at the time of the airdrop on Wednesday morning.
