Introducing Audius Agency: Turning Artist’s Ideas into Reality

Imagine you could build your own music experiences, free from the limitations of generic platforms and off-the-shelf tools.

Audius is excited to announce the launch of Audius Agency — a new initiative where Audius  connects with musicians to build custom stand-alone, open-source products on top of the Audius protocol. No cookie-cutter experiences. No gatekeeping. Just bold ideas, built based on your vision.

So, what is Audius Agency?

At its core, Audius Agency is a creative lab where artists and engineers collaborate to turn bold ideas into real, working tools.

With Audius Agency, you’re paired with a team of dedicated builders who work alongside you to craft a distinctive, fully customized music experience that embodies your artistic vision.

What makes Audius Agency special is the focus on your vision. We’re not offering a self-serve dashboard or a DIY low-code solution. Instead, our dedicated team of engineers collaborates closely with you, focused on your idea, investing the time and creativity to push the boundaries of what's possible. And if the solution we create together proves successful, it may even  become part of the core Audius Music client.

Everything we build is open-source and powered by the free Audius SDK, meaning your ideas can continue to grow, evolve, and inspire others in the community.

Why are we doing this?

On most music streaming platforms, your presence often fades into the background thanks to one-size-fits-all tools that stifle your unique vision. We’re here to change that by injecting a bit of delight into the music experience—experimenting with fresh ideas sourced directly from the artists who know best

You get access to a team of dedicated engineers who can help bring your vision to life, and we get to learn directly from the artists pushing creative boundaries. And as these projects take off, they can attract more attention from artists, which means more innovative ideas and reasons for creators to explore what Audius can offer.

With Audius Agency, we’re not just building tools, we're building relationships, momentum, and a shared vision for the future of music tech.

Got an idea?

Imagine a personalized ‘music passport’ that unlocks exclusive tracks, merch, or content as fans engage with your work, or an immersive music hub where radio-style playlists fuse with social features for real-time interaction, or even a music crowdsourcing platform that empowers artists to fund and launch groundbreaking projects. These are just a few ideas to spark your imagination—ambitious visions we’re excited to support.

If you’re an artist with a spark of inspiration, whether it’s a fully developed concept or just a “what if?,” we’d love to hear from you!
