Are you on the hunt for some summer lovin’? Or perhaps, you’re on a journey for greater self-love this sunny season. This week. Audius presents a luscious Hot & New playlist update filled with love-laced tunes, perfect for spending time with your partner, best friends, or even yourself.

Internationally known R&B artist Col3trane makes his Audius debut with his latest release, “Queen’s Disease.” This gentle track represents that classic Col3trane sound with instrumentation that resembles ocean waves lapping at the beach, tinted pink by the sunset. Steady drums tap and the funky plucking of a guitar adds a hint of playful mischief. All the while, Col3trane shines with his dulce de leche voice: a rich, sweet serenade. “Queen’s Disease” is an exemplary way for Col3trane to introduce himself to Audius listeners while also exciting existing fans on the platform.

Another massive Audius debut comes in the form of a duo: LION BABE and their 90’s electronica twist on Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin’ Bout You.” Composed of multi-hyphenate artists Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman, LION BABE covers this R&B song in a completely new light. A 90’s UK garage beat impeccably bounces underneath Hervey’s angelic, powerful voice while still capturing the passion and tenderness in “Thinkin’ Bout You.” LION BABE excitedly shares this track as the introduction of their next chapter, and Audius anxiously awaits their next song!

JAYCEEOH, a key producer in American electronic music, presents a sensual mix of two heavy-hitting tracks - John Summit and Hayla’s collaboration, “Where You Are,” and Keys N Krates’ “Brazilian Love Song.” JAYCEEOH replaces the euphoric house production by John Summit with the piano and bass of “Brazilian Love Song.” Meanwhile, he maintains Hayla’s sonorous voice as she sings of romantic desire. Together, this flawless mix captures the love and longing found in both of these songs.

Soulection staple AbJo recently dropped a cornucopia of delightful beats to Audius, one of our favorites being “#Mostrar!” Long ago, the producer perfected the craft of pulling samples from genres all across the world, and “#Mostrar!” is no different. An agogo bell, often implemented in samba, remains constant throughout the track as other elements slowly build in. A rap vocal enters subtly in tandem with calmly pulsing synth chords. Finally, AbJo tops this song off with a cruising bassline, transforming “#Mostrar!” into a lovely, laidback beat for any mood or occasion.

Self-described “crispy and delicious,” duo Disco Fries returns to Audius with a healthy dose of disco as they drop “Give Me Your Soul,” a collaboration with Eche Palante. This track energizes the dance floor with a strong saxophone sample and a driving piano rhythm. All the while, a silvery vocal sample sings “Give me your soul,” granting the song its name. With notes of modern house, Disco Fries presents an addictive disco tune with this newest track.
