House production duo Disclosure delivers excellence once again with “Arachnids.” Presenting us with an extended mix, listeners can immerse themselves in this curious cavernous track. A sharp bassline goes hand-in-hand with staccato hi-hats, creating a foundation for shimmering synthesizers and sprinkles of distortion. “Arachnids” amalgamates characteristics from across house music: a hypnotic beat, elements that organically breathe into one another, maddening acid flourishes. Indeed, all of Disclosure’s music corrals the crowd and keeps them dancing; “Arachnids” is no different!
